While taking a walk in the park to see some of the fall colors the above image came into view. We take walking for granted every day...until we can't, or have difficulty doing it. When we see someone who may never walk normally, it makes us think.
Someday, somewhere, things will be different.
"... cripples came to Him, and He healed them." (Matthew 21:14 n.e.b.)

I love this photo. It pulls at me in a way I can't explain. It makes me think more about my decision to become a special-education teacher and I wonder if I have the right personality and attitude to actually be a good one...
So excited for Jesus to come back, if only for the simple fact that life indeed will be different.
I'm with Ruth. The picture really tells an entire story in one push of a button. When I saw the woman, I thought of an acquaintance of mine named Michelle. Her 8-month-old son, Isaac, was born with heart defects and has already had two open-heart surgeries. She's struggling to help him gain weight; he weighs about the same as Kayla does. Anyway, I hurt for them as they struggle, but I rejoice for them that we have the technology we do today to help people live long, relatively healthy lives.
