Stop Smooching!

A "No Kissing" sign, at Warrington Bank Quay station in Warrington, Cheshire, England.

The goal is to stop departing passengers from pulling up in their cars at a crowded drop-off point and pausing to kiss each other farewell.

Virgin Rail says that if passengers want to share an embrace before they part company, they should pay to park their cars nearby where they can kiss all they want.

...I wonder why the Academy I attended did not think of this. But it probably would not have worked any better than the faculty lurking around campus with stun guns and pepper spray.

Um, did they REALLY do that? Or were you just being your sarcastic self? Because I wouldn't put it past some schools...

The sign in England is true. My comment about the academy was just sarcastic--although truly reflecting the attitude of some of the staff and faculty at the school.
